Bonshaw Breezes is an amazing place to stay! In addition to the rooms and property being beautiful and well taken care of, Dave and Sharon were splendid hosts. The breakfast was different every morning and always excellent. When we arrived at PEI we didn't have any plans so Sharon gave us great recommendations for things to see and places to go. We loved getting to stay at Bonshaw Breezes.

Dave and Sharon are wonderful hosts. Every morning they greeted us with big smiles and welcome and wonderful breakfasts. (Our last morning we had to leave early and they had put breakfast in the refrigerator for us to take with us.) We were there for 6 breakfasts and they were all delicious and never the same. After breakfast they spent time with us going over our plans for the day, including making reservations. Every day was full and they gave great recommendations. At night on our return they listened to our excitement over the day we had.
We stayed in one of the suites and were very pleased with it. There were three of us so one person had to sleep on the hide-a-bed in the living room couch. It was fine for one person but would not have slept two. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Sharon puts fresh flowers in the room every morning and little gifts on the night stand. The only negative was that the wireless internet would not work in our sutie very often so we had to go over to the main house. Dave was frustrated with it and is working on it.
I will definately recommend the b&b to anyone who is planning on going to the island. We are so thankful we decided to stay there the entire time!

My mother and I spent a lovely weekend at the Bonshaw Breezes as part of a getaway weekend in Charlottetown.
Firstly - the property is lovely. We stayed in the Morning Glory Suite and the room is stunning. Perfect for a couple. It was also fine for us as a mother/daughter pair or for 2 that don't mind sharing a bed. The bathroom was my real slice of heaven. HUGE soaker tub that would fit 2 quite nicely, separate shower - his/her sinks. The softest towels you could ask for, and quality products to use.
What really made this B&B amazing was Sharon and David. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were visiting friends. Snacks and wine with great conversation, and they just make you feel like they wouldn't rather be anywhere else but right there with you. We opted for the lobster supper on our 1st night and it was incredible. Breakfast each day was tasty and plentiful .. and again they kept the conversation flowing with the other guests and ourselves.
I think the best way to describe them is that they are just natural hosts. Great conversation, but when we were ready to hit the road they ensured we had a great map, beach chairs, and anything else we could need.

We had a delightful time. The owners are very personable and made our trip comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast is delectable. Their property is beautiful and quiet but conveniently close to the main attractions on the island. Highly recommended

Sharon and Dave, It was so great staying here and being treated like princesses! Everything was just perfect-the room, the view, the VERY comfortable bed (compared to the dorm room beds I'm used to...), the hot tub, fire and of course the AMAZING breakfast! You've spoiled us so much! Thank you for contributing to my best vacation weekend ever :) It was great having some good conversations too. I'll always remember my stay here with my cousin Ali! Thanks again

"Although I consider myself something of a gastro-tourist, I didn't really know what to expect food-wise from PEI when I came to visit in late July -- I imagined much more of a feast for the eyes than for the stomach.
But, boy, did Sharon and Dave change that perception! From the moment my mother and I arrived at Bonshaw Breezes, Sharon's detailed list of the next morning's menu made us yearn for breakfast. Some of the highlights included Sharon's delicious berry compote (made with the best selections from Charlottetown's country markets) mixed with creamy yogurt from ADL Dairy Products. I was always torn over whether to adorn my cinammon toast or pancakes with those berries or Ann Worth's maple syrup. (But then I'd decide, hey, it's vacation, I'll use both!) To balance the sweet were the savory flavors of bacon and sausage from Steerman's Quality Meats that are still on the tip of my tongue.
But my favorite experience on PEI (and I'm talking overall, even compared to a visit to Green Gables, home of a very dear childhood friend) would have to be the little oyster happy hour Dave and Sharon hosted for us at their home. They really went above and beyond: We asked for a recommendation about where to try the famous PEI oysters, and after thinking about it for a minute, Sharon suggested, "How about here?"
So the next day, Dave went out to Morning Star Fisheries in Victoria and picked up a bag of oysters. He (very patiently) taught me how to shuck them, and then we all stood around enjoying them, with both traditional toppings like lemon juice and cocktail sauce, as well as Sharon and Dave's own creation, which was a surprisng combination of wasabi and sour cream. We had a great time gabbing and nibbling with Sharon, Dave and the other guests, comparing Island adventures with both locals and fellow travelers. As someone who sees food as an expression of friendship and intimacy, that evening really helped me taste not just the flavors, but also the character, of PEI.
I can't wait for a second helping!"

"My daughter and I spent 2 of our 5 nights on PEI at Bonshaw Breezes and I can truly say that this B&B was outstanding. Sharon and Dave were the most hospitable hosts we encountered on the Island. They struck the perfect balance between being 100% welcoming, friendly, and helpful (excellent advice with regards to exploring the Island!), and yet being gracious, and unimposing. Breakfasts on both mornings were creative and delicious, and we loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder outside the window. I chose this B&B because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and, after staying there myself, I can certainly endorse every one of them! "
